Here is a place where the broken, old, and rusted are treasured. Where the cast away, looked over, thrown out are cleaned up and given new life. This realm is a representation of our own world, where anyone who feels this way is treasured and can be washed, restored and given a new life through the love of our Savior.
I am a navy veteran, a mom, a wife who has led a crazy life. I love doing massage, creating natural products, traveling and now this wonderous new passion of assemblage art. God inspired me with all of these unique pieces to illustrate what He did with my life, and what He has and will do with countless others. I seek after old, corroded, broken, thrown away "useless" pieces and I see each one's hidden potential. I clean it, shape it, and align it with other salvaged pieces and create a totally new creation. This is what God did for me. He took a person at her lowest, who messed up everything, who not only led a life contrary to His word but rejected Him, wanting nothing to do with His will, and He picked me up, cleaned my life up and placed me in this new adventure. Through Jesus, I am a new creation, all things are passed away. He is restoring me and placing me on a new path on the canvas of life that He had designed for me. A path where I fit perfectly. I hope you enjoy my work! Tamarha
Tree of Life 22" x27" My first assemblage piece where I fell in love with the art. The back is made from dry wall which I cracked and painted to look like slate.
A Savior was Born. 14" diameter. I love the coloring of the pizza pan I used. The wire tree with gears was made by my son when he was about 8 after our first trip to a Renaissance Festival.
Peacock soaking in the Sun.7" diameter.
Birth of the Savior.
